Laboratory of Agricultural Machine Accident Investigation
The Laboratory of Agricultural Machine Accident Investigation – LIMA is a research group belonging to the Department of Agricultural Engineering of the Federal University of Ceará. Idealized by Prof. Dr. Leonardo de Almeida Monteiro and registered as a research group at CNPq. The Lab aims to evaluate the risks of accidents involving agricultural machinery, mainly tractors, and to carry out studies and researches to prevent the main sources of accidents in this area, giving visibility and increasing the availability of information about accidents involving agricultural machinery, making everyone aware of the risks they offer, as well as offering safety tips with agricultural machinery, dissemination of publications on the subject, accident videos and so on. This is another tool to improve the quality of life of the operator and the reduction of accidents.
