Social Engagement
The PPGEA has been developing extension and social engagement actions through research groups, both in rural communities in the Brazilian semiarid region and important events that combine scientific research activities with the participation of primary school teachers and rural producers, such as the Brazilian Symposium on Natural Resources Of the Semiarid. In this sense, it provides an environment to share experiences and propose solutions. In addition, didactic material is published in the form of booklets and books directed to the general public, thus allowing accessibility to the contents generated within the scope of the Postgraduate Program in Agricultural Engineering.
